The lessee must be at least 25 years old. The lessee must hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years. Additional drivers must also meet the eligibility criteria and be approved by the lessor.
The rental period starts on the date and time specified in the rental agreement. Any extension must be approved in advance by the lessor.
Rental charges, taxes, and any additional fees (e.g., insurance, fuel, late returns) will be outlined in the agreement. Payment must be made in full at the start of the rental or as per the agreed-upon schedule in cash or card.
A refundable security deposit of RS 25,000 (500 EUR) will be collected before the rental period begins. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the vehicle in the same condition, minus any applicable deductions for damages, fines, or fuel shortages.
The vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes. The lessee may not: allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle; use the vehicle for commercial purposes, racing, towing, or off-road activities.
The vehicle will be provided in good working condition and clean. The lessee is responsible for maintaining the vehicle's condition during the rental period and will bear the cost of any damages caused by misuse or negligence.
The vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance. The lessee is responsible for any damages or liabilities exceeding the coverage limits.
In the event of an accident or breakdown, the lessee must immediately notify the lessor and follow instructions. Any repairs or towing costs must be approved by the lessor.
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental. A refueling charge will apply if the fuel level is lower.
The lessee is responsible for any traffic violations, parking tickets, or penalties incurred during the rental period.
The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date, time, and location. Late returns will incur additional charges as per the rental agreement. The vehicle must be clean; otherwise, the client will have to pay a cleaning fee of 20 EUR.
The lessor reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if the lessee violates any terms or conditions without remuneration.
The lessor is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle. The lessor is not liable for delays, accidents, or damages caused by unforeseen circumstances.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Mauritius.
These terms and conditions may be updated at any time, and the updated version will apply to all rentals from the effective date.
By signing the rental agreement or accepting the vehicle, the lessee agrees to these terms and conditions.
